Old Mystic History Center Participates in Connecticut Open Day

On Saturday, June 13, the Old Mystic History Center proudly participated in the 22nd
Annual Connecticut Open House Day.

This statewide event, held each year on the second Saturday in June, encourages residents and visitors alike to discover the many tourism, arts, cultural, and historic attractions that Connecticut has to offer.

Board members Richard Guidebeck, Deb Keehn, and Sharon Maynard welcomed
visitors throughout the day, offering guided tours of the History Center and sharing
information about the OMHC’s collections, programs, and community initiatives. Guests
had the opportunity to learn more about the Center’s mission to preserve and share the rich history of Old Mystic and the surrounding area.

We were delighted to meet new visitors and showcase all that the Old Mystic History
Center has to offer. Thank you to everyone who stopped by and helped make the day a
success!
